Abuelu (Ab-oo-ell-oo)

The abuelu is a terriffying monster of legend. Myths of the abuelu date back to long before the Hallowing War, suggesting their presence on Ebilar long before the Entangling. The abuelu appear as hulking six-legged scorpion-like creatures, with a protruding humanoid body, and a massive tail with a razor-sharp stinger. These creatures are extremely fast, and will hunt their prey from above, dropping down on them in crevasses and caverns where possible. They will attack with a combination of large talons, stinger, and held weapons. These creatures often resemble a cross between a scorpion-like centaur, and a ghoul.
