Euphoric Sacrament is a metallic-gold intoxicant used in certain rites of the Fury, the Sovereign of Rage and Ruin. The drink is prepared from extremely strong grain alcohol and a volatile mixture of alchemical aromatics and psychoactive herbs. Its scent is dizzying and sweet, and its taste is sharp enough to sting the tongue.
Manufacturing process
The base alcohol is distilled to extreme purity, then slowly infused with the psychoactive resin and aromatic compounds through indirect heating. Once blended, the mixture is transferred into sealed glass vessels and allowed to rest for at least one lunar cycle, during which its color deepens and the psychoactive effects stabilize. When the maturation is complete, the Sacrament is decanted into individual one-ounce vials, each intended as a single dose. Dilution is never used, as reducing potency is considered both sacrilegious and dangerous.
History
The Sacrament dates back to cults of the Fury during the Late Dhakaani and early Aereni periods, where it was consumed to dissolve restraint and allow raw emotion to surface during ritual wailing rites. In the modern age, it remains a central component of ecstatic worship, particularly in enclaves in the Shadow Marches, and among certain artists’ societies in Sharn and Rekkenmark.
Significance
The Sacrament is used to dissolve inhibition and bring the worshipper to a state in which joy, rage, desire, despair, and devotion become indistinguishable. To worship the Fury is to feel completely, without hesitation or shame. The confusion it induces is considered sacred — not madness, but the unmaking of emotional walls.
Those who drink it during rites often shout, sing, weep, laugh, or fight with untempered clarity. It is not taken to lose control, but to become the truest shape of oneself, whether beautiful or terrible.

Euphoric Sacrament is not sold openly. It is brewed in temples, shrines, hidden gatherings, and ecstatic circles devoted to the Fury. Outside those spaces, it is rare and expensive, often traded only to those already entangled in such worship.
The Sacrament is made from extremely pure alcohol infused with several psychoactive and aromatic substances.
