Sora Kell

Sora Kell is a legendary Night Hag, and one of the first children of Khyber. She has traveled the world of Eberron, and the planes too, and there are stories about her deeds going back thousands of years to the Age of Demons. She is said to be the most powerful of the night hags, but history is seemingly confused about her origin, with several conflicting tales. Some place her as one of thirteen original night hags, the one who walked alone when her sisters formed covens of three.
There are stories of Sora Kell all over the world of Eberron, and there are even tales of her exploits across the planes. Her meddling inevitably leads to chaos, which has caused some people to theorise that she is The Traveler, inspiration for myths of The Traveler, or an agent of the Traveler. Indeed, if Sora Kell was present during the Age of Demons, which seems likely given her nature, then it is entirely possible that stories of her during that time period would later inspire myths surrounding The Traveler, just as events during the Age of Demons possibly inspired other myths of the Sovereign Host.
Her children, the Daughters of Sora Kell, formed the nation of Droaam in 986 YK. No one knows who their father (or fathers) are, and Sora Kell certainly isn't telling anyone. Each of them are the subject of fairy tales in their own right, even ignoring the long shadow cast by their mother.
Sora Kell hasn't been sighted in over a hundred years, and her current fate is unknown. It's possible that she's taken a back seat to allow her daughters to prosper on their own terms, or perhaps her own daughters have even imprisoned her somewhere. It's also possible that she's just really engrossed in a very long book and has forgotten to check on the world outside of her study, or that she has somehow gotten trapped on another plane of existence. The only thing that is certain is that nobody seems to know where she is.
