Lhesh Haruuc of the Rhukaan Taash (a.k.a. Haruuc Shaarat'kor)

Haruuc Shaarat'kor is the ruler of the nation of Darguun, and a legendary hobgoblin general even before that. In 969 YK, he united the various Ghaal'dar clans under his banner and seized territory in southwestern Cyre and eastern Breland, carving out a homeland for his people. Prior to this, he was a mercenary general working with House Deneith. He has taken the title of lhesh, meaning "high warlord" in goblin, and is genuinely invested in creating a sustainable homeland for the goblinoids. This has been a difficult task, the other nations seem poised to watch Darguun fail, and he is constantly having to deal with political rivalries from the other Ghaal'dar clans. He is a charismatic leader, however, and thus far the alliances he formed have held. Haruuc is noteworthy for being a worshipper of Dol Dorn, not the Dark Six. He has encouraged religious freedom within Darguun, though many of the goblinoids cling to their beliefs. He is concerned about what will happen to Darguun when he dies, it is largely his force of personality that is credited with holding the goblinoid nation together. Haruuc had three shava in his life, his sister Haluun, Fenic of the Mur Talaan and Vanii of the Ja'aram. Vanii is the last surviving shava of the lhesh.
