Ghaal'dar Clans

One of the first cultures to emerge in the Seawall Mountains following the fall of the Dhakaani empire was that of the Ghaal'dar clans. They were scattered tribes picking amongst the ruins of their own people, trying to pick up the pieces and forget how far they had fallen. Though they were born from the ruins of Dhakaan, the Ghaal'dar clans are not Dhakaani and have developed their own traditions and beliefs. In particular, the kapaa'vola had changed their psychology and made them more individualistic and passionate, and opened the door for faith.
The Ghaal'dar are a warrior culture, where might and strength make right. They tell stories of one day retaking all of Khorvaire from the humans that pushed them into the fringes, and re-establishing an empire like the one that they lost. Many of them found comfort in the words of the Dark Six, especially as the civilisations of the Sovereign Host pushed them ever deeper into the mountains they called home, and away from their ancestral homelands.
The Ghaal'dar are now the dominant culture in Darguun, after the Lhesh Haruuc Shaarat'kor united the various clans under his banner and took the land from Breland and Cyre.
