Body Features
Ser Roxley was a taller than average human with a lean and muscular body. She looked fairly androgynous, especially while wearing her armor. In all her years of active duty, she accumulated her fair share of scars. They rarely were visible, however, as she rarely went outside without her armor on.
Special abilities
She was a capable fighter proficient with a variety of weapons. However, she preferred the rapier for its reach and because it can easily be used in tight spaces such as alleyways. Ser Roxley had a knack for finding the smallest cracks in her enemy's armor and striking them where it hurt.

Ser Roxley typically wore a combination of chain and plate armor with a tabard and cloak in the red of the Dawncrest family. She rarely went anywhere without her trusted rapier.

Personal history
Ser Adelaide Roxley was born in 702 in Starharbor. Her parents were farmers, who raised her to one day take over their farm. Her father also taught her how to defend herself. When bandits tried to raid the city's food supplies in 714, her parents were among the civilian casualties. This prompted her to join the city guard. She got knighted in 721 and was assigned as the personal guard to the Governor's son, William Dawncrest in the same year.
When William turned 16, she resigned from her post as bodyguard and joined the guard again, to help with the escalating bandit raids. She met her untimely demise during one particularly nasty bandit raid in 736 when she was patrolling the outskirts of the city with another guard. She sent the other guard away to get the two kids from the nearby farmstead and escort them back to the city. She died buying them time, ensuring the kid's and the other guard's survival.
Failures & Embarrassments
Despite her best efforts, William mangaged to sneak away from her a couple of times, resulting in him going missing in 723. She managed to return him to his father with the help of three adventurers.

Due to her parents dying when she was just a child, she always had a soft spot for children. She regularly bought snacks for the kids and joined them in their games. Thus, the kids trusted her and often came to her when they had any problems.
