Location & Structure

The continent Krom lies in the mists at the northeastern end of the world. It is made up of several land masses of various sizes. The land got shattered in The Age of Dread, when wars were waged all over Ebea. The small island in the centre is home to an ever growing World Tree.

History & Lore

The continent was home to many renown scientists in The Age of Discovery, paving the way for inventions such as airships. It was famous for its libraries and learning institutions, offering free education for all who desired it.
In the Age of Dread, when wars were waged all over Ebea, the final battle against The Dark One was fought on Krom. In the process, the land got shattered, earning the continent the name The Shattered Land. Over the course of many war-plagued years, the continent Krom and its once brilliant inventions were lost to time. Krom became known as The Shattered Land and The Shattered land eventually became a myth, a fancy of many a seafarer and adventurer.
Here, Thea Dawncrest used Dawnbringer, Bane of Undead to deal the killing blow to the Dark One, ending their reign of terror. However, Thea Dawncrest, as the supposed Avatar of the goddess Aherin, Aspect of Life, was mortally wounded in the battle and died shortly after. Legend has it that her blood, and with it the blood of the goddess, fell to the ground, nourishing the earth. And as the last of the blood got soaked up by the earth, a single sapling sprouted on this shattered and devastated land.
