Scarlet Knights

The Scarlet Knights Of Lumina were demon hunters of the Church of Lumina this organization was disbanded after the Hoard War. Today the Scarlet Knights as they are now called  are not supported, sponsored or financed by the Church of Lumina in any way shape or form. This faction is currently made up of former members of the Knights of Lumina, rejected candidates and others. Originally the Scarlet Knights of Lumina were founded in 536 DE and while they have not caused trouble, their successors the Scarlet Knight's has a sorted history and is an unwelcome sight in most Alliance nations. 
During the 563 DE there was a increase number of sightings and incidents involving demons and fiends. The Church of Lumina long time allies of the Scarlet Hunters, founded the Scarlet Knights to combat and protect the world from this potential threat. The Scarlet Knight acted with valor and restraint during this time. During the Hoard war the Scarlet Knights acted with honor and Valor but were nearly wiped out.     
This depletion in numbers and leadership lead the way for those unworthy to lead to gain stewardship over the organization. This lead to the knights to conduct themselves in an unworthy manner including questionable actions towards gnolls and others in the early years following the end of the war, in there attempts to root out cultist of the Blood God. This lead to the knights splitting with many rejoining the Knights of Lumina while those who remained with the Scarlet Knights refused orders to disband and were disavowed by the church of Lumina.  
Today the Scarlet knights are few in number and has limited their activities to Claimed Island particularly the City of Wands home of the last know intact Scarlet Hunters Lodge.

History

After several incidents and accusations of abuses towards gnolls and others after the end of the Hoard War The Church of Lumina pulled its support from the Scarlet Knights of Lumina and ordered its dissolution. Those loyal to the church of Lumina obeyed and were welcomed back into the Knights of Lumina. Those who refused rebranded their order as the Scarlet Knights an independent order and continued to carry out their agenda without the restraint or clarity of purpose that the Scarlet Knights of Lumina had.
