Rieon Region Overview

Rieon located on the Sunset Coast and north of the Frost Wind Swamps. The Sunset Forest dominates the western regions while the Dunwarick Forest commands the east. In between these two forest are the great plains and badlands of Rieon, know as the majestic plains. Many a traveling merchant, carnivals and caravans can be found here trading, escorting people learning new skills and honing long mastered skills. Many people call this region home and travel is relatively safe but the plains can be unforving for the unseasoned traveler.
The Majestic Plains An expanse of flat lands, temperate desert and badlands. Located between the Sunset Forest and the Dunwarick Forest. This are is home to some of the most majestic scenery in Brightmoor. Scattered amongst these plains are pockets of forest and fantastical geological formations. But this region is also home to some beast monster's and bandits.
Royeavl named after the lake at the center of this region this is the most populated, popular and forested region. It is the entry way to the Majestic Plains and home of the twin cities of Leaon and Vax Royeaul. The lake itself has many attractions, shore line hotels and rest spots. Multiple boat and gondola services are also available to take a traveler to and from each city and shore to shore.
Laeon & Vax Royeavl The first cities founded in the Rieon region. The cities are home of some of the best bards, artist and artisans thanks to the multiple academies dedicated to the arts and the travelling carnivals that make frequent stops there. All travelers are advised to take the city in moderation less they be overwhelmed by its beauty and its offerings. Both cities offer a grand view of Mt. Sindrel.
Mt.Sindrel Overlooking the Royeavl region is a large lonely mountain, Mt.Sindrel. Many ruins and relics from the Dragon Age have been found on this mountain. Many an adventure has set out into the moutain for fame and glory only to return with tales of beast, bandits and monsters.
Vandrad The City fortress of Vandrad sits in the middle of the Majestic Plains, from its position on a high mt. it commands the more well known and traveled pathways and the Fel Waters River. Many a bandit group have tried and failed to take this city fortress. For the law abiding citizen and traveler food, comfort and entertainment can be found here. There are rumors that the Silver Thorns were founded in this city.
Lindow A small rustic city on the Norther most tip of the Majestic plains. This city marks the entry point to Rieon and the Felwinds region. The city may be small but it is well known for the many famous bards that have found their start and fame in this city before and after the age of storms. No one knows why so many bards have made their name in this city. This city also boast some of the best views of the Majestic plains and the Felwinds.
Sunset Forest A large forest spanning from the Felwinds boarder to the Frost Winds Swamp is largely unexplored or mapped. Once home to multiple settlements and estates that were lost during the age of storms. Now only over grown ruins remain. Many an adventuer and hunter have found sucess in this forest hunting big game, monsters and on occasion finding a relic from the Dragon Age of the Vannir.
