By calling upon the rock crystal in the deep earth, and mixing it with ether, the mage attempts to turn their opponent to a crystal statue. They ask the elements and touch the person and the person starts to crystallize. In the first stages they are restrained, unable to move but still functional. In the last stages they start to fully lose to the crystal taking over their body. If the creature is turned to crystal, they die instantly.

Effect

Note: Any of the creatures belongings are turned along with it if in contact, the only notable exceptions are powerful artifacts that drop from the creatures hands or packs as they are turned.

Salen's Garden

It is rumored that the Archmagus (still alive by the way) has a private garden full of crystal statues that may or may not have been former opponents. These life like statues, still posed in warlike motions, are eerie to look at and if looked at long enough, the viewer feels like they are following you with their lifeless eyes.
