Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Ben hasn't necessarily let himself go since gaining his freedom, but he isn't nearly as fit as he was in his working days. He is of relatively average build, and probably wouldn't fare well in a fight.
Facial Features
After his girlfriend, Élise, vanished for nearly seven years, Ben has grown out his beard. At first, it was because he simply didn't care anymore, but then it became a stylistic choice, and he keeps it well-trimmed, even now that she is back.
Identifying Characteristics
Ben has cybernetic hands that he got after losing his to the Yotsuturi's a few years back. He also has scars on his wrists and feet from the crucifixion.
Apparel & Accessories
While he will never admit it aloud, Ben does quite enjoy having, well, options when it comes to his apparel. He always dresses for the occasion, but perhaps dresses a little too formally when working. He loves his tailored suits. As far as color goes, Ben usually sticks with darker colors, particularly blue, green, and red.
Specialized Equipment
All of Ben's equipment is specialized. He makes it himself, after all. He keeps his personal cochlear and ocular implants up to date, as well as his hands.

Personal history
Ben was born into slavery. He worked the mines starting at age twelve. His natural affinity for technology enabled him to find the most valuable of technological artifacts for his master, Frederick Longfellow. He spent what free time he had experimenting with what objects he was allowed. His uncanny knack for sniffing out valuable tech along with his self-taught ability to disassemble and reassemble machinery earned him the notice of a wealthy sponser, Armand Rosencaster, who purchased him off of Longfellow at the age of seventeen. Rosencaster set him up with his own workshop and granted him access to what parts he needed, provided he reported back his findings. Before long, his new master's intentions became clear: he was looking to replace his lost arm with a functional mechanical replica. Once Ben was able to achieve this--and he did so at the age of 28--he was set free and provided with the funding to start his own company. And thus Circuit Cybernetics was born.
Education
Ben is very well educated. He was taught nothing by Mr. Longfellow, knowing only the things he picked up on the street. However, Mr. Rosencaster hired a small team of tutors to teach Ben all he had missed and more, providing him with a more robust education than most of the young folk in Stallsworth.
Employment
Being thrust into ownership of Circuit Cybernetics was his first and only "real" job. Prior to that, he worked for free as a slave.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Ben has accomplished much in the realm of cybernetics. He is able to replicate the use of limbs, has made cochlear, ocular, tactile, gustatory, and olfactory implants, and is currently working on a fully-functioning AI android with Élise.
Failures & Embarrassments
Ben once spent a good amount of time attempting to make an olfactory implant, but the plan tanked due to lack of third-party interest in the idea. He has since figured it out anyway.
Mental Trauma
Ben was recently crucified at the hands of Inquisitor Varys, which is bound to screw someone up. However, he has taken it in stride, often making lame Messiah jokes about the situation, and has only the occasional nightmare about the whole thing. He has been more worried about his damaged friends than himself.
Intellectual Characteristics
While he is highly intelligent in most areas, he excells, of course, in robotics, mechanics, and programming.
Morality & Philosophy
As a former slave, it is safe to say that Ben abhors forced labor, a major contributor to the Stallsworth economy. While that may be true, he also finds difficulty empathizing with those downtrodden who maybe don't have the internal drive and natural gifts that he himself used to rise from poverty. He is, however, charitable, and donates much of his profit towards the Stallsworth Ruin Recovery operation.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Ben is motivated almost solely by the desire to be able to replicate the human body entirely in mechanical form. He is working on that project with Élise.
Likes & Dislikes
Ben loves trying out new dishes. While he doesn't tend to eat a whole lot, especially on his busy work days, he makes up for it in variety. While he may live in an underground city, Ben really doesn't care for the dark, and will make any excuse to go up to the surface in daylight just to soak up some sun.

Social Aptitude
Due to his upbringing, Ben is perhaps the least socially adept person in the upper echelon of Stallsworth. He holds himself together relatively well, but comes off as shy, and sometimes even rude.
Hobbies & Pets
Ben doesn't generally care all too much for real animals, but he does have a small pet robot named PAL that he performs regular maintenance on to experiment with new ideas. As a result, sometimes PAL is humanoid, while other times he is snake-like or resembles a tiny tank. It just depends on the day.
