Dictums of the Living God

Herein lie the Dictums of the Living God, Shel Stonebane, King of the Exiled.
1st Dictum: Henceforward it is decreed that the Exiled should be one people, with one goal; the complete annihilation of the Stoneborn. We will tear down their holds, their traditions, and their precious clans, and replace them with a new order for Dwarfenkind. Our order.     2nd Dictum: The pursuit of gold is assuredly the gravest threat to prosperity of all Dwarfs. It is the single objective on which the entirety the Dwarfen social construct is based. The Guild controls the accumulation of resources, centralizing the wealth of the hold amongst their highest members. The Clan controls the political power, thus legitimizing the Guild. And who suffers? The common Dwarf and the Clanless. No longer! I now declare that the pursuit of wealth is to be repugnant to all Dwarfs. Henceforth all Guilds are abolished, and the Exiled will only work for the good of their comrades, and as such their comrades will work for them!     3rd Dictum: As stated in the 2nd Dictum, the Clan is a remnant of a time long past, a byproduct of a society focused on the glory of the individual rather than the needs of the whole. As such it has no place in the heart of the People. When you love your people above all, there can be no room for anything else. As such, all Clans are dissolved.     4th Dictum: Dwarfen society and the people should be as one, working in lockstep together for their mutual benefit. In that fashion, the Exiled will hereafter be divided into Orders. Each Order will be responsible for a separate function, working together to serve the best interests of the People.     5th Dictum: The private ownership of property is blatantly opposed to the interests of the People. To facilitate this purpose all property within the hold is to belong to the People for the advancement of their benefit.     6th Dictum: The teachings of Helmvor and Grugnir are contradictory to the elevation of Dwarfen society. The reverence of individual glory and the private accumulation of knowledge are antithetical to our cause. As such, the worship of both of these false gods is banned.     7th Dictum: The interests of the People will be held in trust by Shel and his priests, the Servants of the People. They shall have the full rights and privileges of governance, to organize the Exiled as they see fit. The ranks of the Servants of the People shall pull from every vital strata of Dwarfen life, to ensure there is equal representation for all.
