The Gliding Nomads

The gliding nomads are the people of Aerava who move about who are not pirates, traders or adventurers. A gliding nomad can be any of those things, yet remains tied to the sky. A generally lax bunch, Gliding Nomads wander the isles, resting wherever they see fit. Often this is Anura's Temples, or Windlost Buildings, or occasionally the passing by ships. In the sky - wide community of Aerava, Gliding Nomads are accepted to have certain rights and responsibilities, despite not being tied to any city. These are outlines below. 1. If Nomad of the Sky is to take refuge or rest at a location, they will provide whatever assistance that location may need in return for a roost. 2. Those who harm or rob a Nomad are accepted to have harmed or robbed the Sky itself. 3. If a Nomad asks for refuge from a threat, save it does not compromise another life, you should do your best to provide. 4. Nomads of the sky must uphold the integrity and environment of the Sky. 5. Nomads will obey the rules and laws of a establishment. If they do not, they will be tried for any crimes by the establishment. 6. Any attempt to cheat or manipulate the rules will be seen as an affront to the Sky itself.

Gliding Nomads are often the nonintrusive sort, as demands of a lifestyle of constant moving around and inconstant conditions. However, they are also very appreciative of kindness in the Sky. Gliding Nomads often have a tradition of giving such a kind soul a token of some sort, as a sign for other Nomads. Much to many of these kind souls chagrin, this often leads to an influx of new Gliding Nomads, however, in a time of need, all one must do is ask, and the entire power of the Sky will assist.
