52: Seeking Hands
General Summary
In Auluku, the party notice a new dynamic: local demonstrations demanding the right to go beyond the storms and Emperor Xhu actively searching the world beyond for Iymrith (through arcane means, while forbidding the people to leave Xhuveria). The Emperor hears an update about the faltering search for Iymrith but also materialistic requests from Ahriman. The party is abruptly ejected from the palace when Ataraxia's White Dragon Mask is revealed.
At the Artificer's College, the party contracts Zazawe to build a replacement prosthetic for Garin. She incorporates parts of a Zirayka weapon and flail snail shell powder to make a strong replacement arm with some arcane properties. The party remains in Auluku for 3 days. Upon their departure, the Emperor covertly meets the party and requests that the mask be handed over so it may be destroyed. Ataraxia declines.
Back on Akudon, the party prepares to assist the Cloudpiercers and the Tortoise crew in Whalestone Bay. Njeri wishes to immediately liberate Calodros in a massive display of strength. Qal prefers the original plan of taking control of the Calodros harbor, potentially with the support of a local resistance group. The party now heads to Calodros with the Tortoise crew to gather intel while the Cloudpiercers and Reavers will collect supplies in Breaktooth.
