Glorianna Hwitt

Hail, The Great Innovator. Hail, The Great Protector. Hail, The Great savior, The White one, glory be her name, that she may continue to provide us with her wisdom and protection as we dwell in this her city. May we continue daily to exhibit the traits that allowed her to design and construct this the holy city. That generations before us have made beautiful in her image and have constructed in her Holy name. Upwards is the direction of progress, and Upwards Her great City has climbed. She who made progress when the destruction wrought by others attempted to lay to waste this city, attempted to lay low her glorious inhabitants. Our savior in Glory. Amen. - Prayer from the First Order Book of White
The inventor and creator of the Magtar, Glorianna Hwitt has been touted as a savior, and over the centuries has been deified in various cultish religions. Experts agree, her design of the Magtar is in fact responsible for the continuation of the species.   Born Glorianna Adal Hwitt, in the year -48, Glorianna studied biochemistry and mechanical engineering in an educational facility known as University. Her work on the effects of radiation on the body paired with her military commissioned projects on shield technology led to her concept design of the initial Magtar. With the onset of the Last War and the increasing use of nuclear weapons Hwitt and her partners created a Life size prototype of the Magtar. After initial testing and with the impending likelyhood of planetary annihilation the created the first Magtar, Magėžlys.    The early years of the Magtar were increasingly complicated as organizing individuals and ensuring the city is self sufficient became the primary focus. Hwitt seems to take a back seat in the chronicles during this time. Some speculate that she kept herself locked up in a lab working on a secret project.   It is known that Glorianna Adal Hwitt passed away on the 8th day of the first month, year 52.

Hwitt’s Legacy:

One thousand years later the shield and city still stand, and veneration of Hwitt’s accomplishments are worshipped as the sole reason for the city’s continued existence.
