Magic pools
During the final battle of the first age many mages used these pools to store magical power for an attack on Ze'gath, the demon who threatened to end E'ath, however the demon struck the mages before they could gather enough energy. Without anyone knowing how to disperse the magical energy or continue the experiment the druids simply disallowed anyone to study them due to the fear that the magic might be released and destroy part of E'ath. Since then the druids have put up guards to make sure that no one does any further experiments with the pools but the area is so vast that many mages have secretly begun studying them despite knowing they will be executed if the druids find them.
The druids here are some of the more militarized parts of the Holy Order of Druids. This is largely due to the druids regarding this as being one of the more risky areas in E'ath as the druids still believe it can be used to cause a result similar to the First Scar. Due to this most of the outposts here have been built as forts and castles. The leading druid has also gotten the nickname of Druid of Weapons due to this and his tendency to train with and carry around several different types of weapons.
Fauna & Flora
Normal animals have completely disappeared from the pools however a few animals capable of living in the magic filled waters still survive there.
Natural Resources
Magical water, although anyone in possession of water from these pools are executed if found by druids.
