Religion in E'ahna is a fickle thing and it does not work quite like it does in the Forgotten Realms or other campaign settings. The gods of E'ahna do not show up in the flesh- no one knows anything concrete about any of them. They are not a part of historical fact and they do not affect the world in observable ways that can be proven most of the time. They work almost explicitly through mortals that they choose as their champions (Clerics, Paladins, High Priests, Aasimar), or (historically) in the form of a mortal avatar which is often later mistaken as a newly ascended god. The divine powers these champions wield are the only proof the world has of the divine. Truth be told, no one (not even Clerics or Priests) even knows if a particular god is being called by their real name or if they even have a real name. Things like gender and personality are assigned by the cultures who worship them and taken on faith alone. The gods are said to present themselves in many different guises, none of which are universal from one worshiper to the next. Many elves and gnomes especially have come to the logical conclusion that many gods from different pantheons are likely one in the same power.
