The Muse
The Deity of Inspiration
This deity fills a specific niche in greater society- The Arts. The Muse is the patron of all artists, musicians, poets, writers, performers, clothiers, craftsmen, or any profession that relies on the creation of things and talent. Those that the Muse chooses as their "special ones" almost always grow to world-wide renown in their area. The most famous bards, sculptors, and actors will be found with a sigil of The Muse somewhere on their person, guaranteed. They are a deity worshiped worldwide but they are also a deity only worshiped by a very specific sort of person. Their worshipers are a small but very devout bunch. This deity has one Exarch that is widely worshiped as a god by the elves- Emaris. This deity is the source of their power.Dathira of the Common Pantheon
Domains: Forge, Arcana, Light Portfolio: Inspiration, Creativity, Craft, Fulfillment, Purpose Alignment: CG Alias/s: Symbols: Cat, Poppy Dathira is a deity of fulfillment, talent, creativity, and happiness. She is the goddess of finding one’s purpose or passion in life and being darn good at it. Some also see her as a minor goddess of magic as well as apprenticeships of all kinds. Those who study to become masters of their craft are often devoted to her, which in myth can cause some friction between her and Torav, the official god of trades and coin. Dathira is, above all, a goddess of inspiration and motivation- the specifics of what one does with this boon is somewhat irrelevant. She is said to have a soft spot for true artists- painters and sculptors and musicians who create fully out of the need for self expression instead of simply as a means to an end or for glory. It is impossible to predict who she will lend her boons to. That said, Dathira is considered one deity in the so-called Triad of Coin- the gods who hold influence over the economy.TEMPLES OF THE MUSE
