Mayor Al-Varghese

Mayor Al-Varghese is a male loxodon, a bit large and portly even as far as loxodon go, and is the acting mayor for Eduna. The party first became acquainted with him after he took an interest with the party for their service to the village. He outwardly portrays himself as having as bubbly, friendly, and generous persona but through his interactions with others you can see that his true self leans a bit more towards entitled, ignorant, and insensitive. Due to his position and being a son of The Matriarchy he enjoys a position of power and wealth despite being stuck in Eduna and at least from conversations with the party holds no animosity towards being in Eduna. He seems to have as high an opinion of the party as he can even if he doesn't treat them all with the same level of respect.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Mayor Al-Vhargese is large and a bit portly when you start to compare him to other loxodons. His skin is a shadowy grey and he occasionally wears a pair of small circular tortoise shell glasses over his small round brown eyes; he is beginning to show his age as even compared to the wrinkly skin you expect of a loxodon he's got a bit more furrows and wrinkles. His tusks are long and rounded at the ends and he clearly goes to great lengths to them well-polished but outside of this nothing about his nose or ears is greatly different from what you expect of a loxodon.

Physical quirks

Mayor Al-Varghese either has no taste or a really bad sense of taste as he seem to enjoy quite a disgusting array of pungent flavors which so far include:
Chili jam in a wide array of dishes even in which they don't belong
Peanut butter also being used as condiment or flavor...once again even in dishes and drinks that it would make no sense to add

Mayor Al-Varghese is never not well-dressed even in the casual setting of his estate. Robes, fancy suits, fine silk, and jewelry are his mark and perhaps it is a part of his upbringing that he will never be caught wearing something drab or "common".

Personal history

While Mayor Al-Vharghese has certainly talked a lot at the party, outside of a few details he actually hasn't mentioned too much about himself. He's been the mayor for Eduna since its early founding, he's a son of The Matriarchy, he's been around which is how he developed some odd culinary tastes, he has a son, and he has done some work as a jeweler are about the only things that the party has gathered about him so far.

Nothing explicitly is really known about the Mayor's sexuality but we do know that he has a son which means that shockingly at some point he did have relations with another person.
