Kattikatu

Kattikatu is a small kingdom and a key trade port on the southern routes from the Empire of Xin. Rugged mountains and jungle surround the nation, creating natural borders. The primary way to enter the nation is through the the City of Kattikatu, capital and main port.
The region was formerly part of Old Daderrah. There are forgotten ruins across the nation from this ancient time. The Royal Palace of Kattikatu dates back to this time, originally built as a palace for the devas thousands of years ago.
After the Fall of Daderrah, Kattikatu was beset by a series of wars and calamities. The kingdom stabilized with the ascent of a righteous dynasty, which has ruled for centuries, providing much needed stability and prosperity.
Kattikatu is a key trade post on the sea routes to and from the Empire of Xin re of Xin. Merchants from the Dragon Empire as well as farther lands, including Trading Coalition journey to the port. Kattikatu's mountains are rich with gems, particularly sapphires, and it exports a number of expensive spices, dyes, and magical plants from the rainforests and swamps.
