Daderrah
Daderrah was once a unified nation in the southern reaches of the eastern continent.
In ancient times, the humans called upon the powers of celestials for protection as the nation was threatened by the dragons of Empire of Xin and the demon-worshiping forces of Raktakta. The celestials bound their spirits to the rulers of the Daderrah, creating a new race of devas, pure of heart with the power of celestials. This magical power allowed for a lengthy period of prosperity and safety.
However, with so many years on Durin, the devas grew decadent, corrupt, and wicked. Absyun cast divine judgment upon them, cursing them and tearing down their works. Many of the great cities of Old Daderrah remain ruins to this day, overgrown in the deep jungles.
The region formerly occupied by Old Daderrah is still referred to as Daderrah. The region is now separated into several small principalities and minor nations, including Kattikatu and the monastery of Atmamatha. Many of these nations are within the sphere of influence of the Empire of Xin, but the cunning manage to retain their independence by playing the great powers off one another.
