King Arathas discovered that the Thanoran Theocracy had a sliver of the legendary stone of power, the Beochtoril.

King Arathas sent forth spies once more into the land of goliaths. The spies made their way deep into the the heart of the Thanoran's homeland and they found a land of boxes pulled by mighty metal beasts that spit out steam, spears that spit iron, and ships that moved along the river without sails. They moved deeper into the country and found a massive temple to the god of secrets and within it sat a shard of solid black polished stone. The shard hummed with energy and the magician with the spies sent back a message to the king, but he spies never returned.
