The heretic army used their ships without sails to move across Duran Lake and attempt to attack the city of Reme.

Magical artillery and the elite Arathan Dragoons engaged the enemy with no clear winner at the end of the battle. Hertic infantry moved to the south and west of the lake in an attempt for a dual pronged attack on the city, but the Aurelian Legions intercepted their infantry and defeated them in a Pyrrhic victory.
