Loch Bas
In the centre of the fog shrouded Isles of Albion lies a body of water that had for centuries separated the isles of Albina, Alba and Iweriu.
These waters now lay landlocked behind enormous causeways built by The Giants, which serve as land bridges connecting the isles.
This unnatural lake known as Loch Bas is host to a multitude of terrifying aquatic beasts, lurking both beneath the surface but also above it stalking their prey beside the waters edge.
In the middle of the loch stands Dó Carraig, a jagged rock formation reaching skyward cutting through the misty grey clouds above, causing the air around it to scream out with piercing crackles of thunder and lightning. Emanating a chaotic energy from its stone surface, Dó Carraig causes the surrounding waters of Loch Bas to bubble and steam with an intense heat, releasing vast amounts of vapour in to the atmosphere.
It is said that this strange rock formation in the centre of Loch Bas, is the source of the ever present thick fog and mists hiding the many secrets belonging to the isles of Albion from the outside world.
Fauna & Flora
The primordial sea beasts of legend lurk beneath these murky waters, however even these monstrous creatures never venture too close to jagged rocks of Dó Carraig
