The native people have heads of fiery red hair with blue oval shaped eyes & have a pale white complexion.
They are heavily tattooed by the time they reach maturity, as infants they are given their respective tribal markings & more are added to mark milestones also great achievements.
Woad paint and bronze neck bracelets are worn in battle to ward off attacks, though the use of leather armour and occasionally chainmail is used by nobles, chieftains and warriors of renown.
The standard weaponry used by the Albanese military consists of slingshots, bow & arrow, javelins, spears, shillelaghs, flint axes and round shields, though nobles, chieftains and champion warriors tend to use swords either forged by the druids or salvaged from the corpses of their slain enemies.

All Albanese people share a common hatred for The Fomorians and tend to be extremely cautious of, or outright hostile toward outsiders ever since the Invictan invasion.
Average technological level
For at least a thousand years the Isles of Albion have been shrouded in a blanket of thick fog, these misty islands have lay hidden and isolated from the influences of the outside world. While the rest of the world traded, built diplomatic relationships, shared ideas, philosophised or made war, they themselves have made advancements at a slower rate due to their isolation.
The forging of metal was until recently extremely rare, however the production of metal has increased in the last decade due to a blacksmith on the Isles of Albina within a fledgling settlement built on the ruins of an abandoned Invictan fort now known as Dunlon.
Metal is a commodity and a status symbol, usually used for decorative purposes & occasionally weaponry although it is extremely rare & is almost exclusively only available amongst the nobles or sometimes awarded to chosen warriors for their acts of bravery.
Common Dress code
Men, women, young & old all wear specific coloured tartan in accordance to their respective clan.
Clan Iweri wear Green and Blue tartan.
Clan Alba wear Red and Black tartan.
Clan Albin wear Blue and Black tartan.
Common Customs, traditions and rituals
Before battle the warriors of the clans stand before the Druid's who use woad to paint sacred runes upon their skin while speaking incantations in an ancient tongue, these markings are said to evoke the will of their ancestors channeling their strength & vigor. Their lack of armour would make most think them to be cautious fighters however that couldn't be further from the truth, with their ancestors guidance they believe themselves to be almost invulnerable.
Coming of Age Rites
The youths are led miles away from their village through dangerous terrain & hostile territories, then they're left to fend for themselves & find their way home. Upon reaching home they become recognised as adults.
The Albanese people are heavily tattooed by the time they reach maturity, as infants they are given their respective tribal markings & more are added to mark milestones also great achievements.
Funerary and Memorial customs
Chieftains & Nobles are given burials under mounds or Tumulus called Tuaim's, the common folk tend to be buried in the marshlands & peat bogs.
Historical figures
AILFRYD:
Ailfryd a revered Druid who is said to be the first of his ilk, he along with the Giants under his guidance set in place the many awe inspiring monolithic stone circles which dot the landscape, the largest of which is named Cernunnos Henge situated in the south of the Isle of Albina, smaller stone circles can be found surrounding the perimeter of Loch Bas, in the north of Albina is Menhir Henge, Ogham Henge is found upon the Isle of Iweriu & Donlan Henge is situated on Alba to the north, he too is believed to be responsible for the construction of the causeways connecting the isles.
BRUTUS VIRIBUS:
Those few adventurers who have reached these shores & managed to returned to their homelands to tell their tales are disregarded as drunken ramblings of Giants & woad painted fiery haired natives, however not all view these accounts with the same scepticism. The Invictan general Brutus Viribus, certain that something of great importance lay hidden beneath the thick blanket of fog covering the uncharted isles, spent many moons petitioning to lead a campaign to subjugate the natives & bring Invictan civilisation to these wild lands through colonisation. He eventually was successful in his efforts, being granted the opportunity to lead an expeditionary campaign, commanding the famed ninth legion. Brutus set sail from Maritimas to the Isles of Albion with an estimated five thousand soldiers who managed to reach their destination establishing a settlement known amongst the locals as Dunlon. Brutus although successful in establishing a foothold on the isles was met with a string of misfortune, all attempts to reestablish contact with Invicta failed for no boat he sent ever reached home, undeterred he pressed on until eventually he and his forces were slain by the natives who to this day proudly wear the armour & brandish the weaponry of their would be colonists.
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
Being strongly built tends to be an attractive quality for both sexes, blue eyes & red hair is the norm amongst the native populous anything else would appear strange to them being as they live isolated from the outside world, as to whether it would be seen as attractive or not is 50/50.
Those resembling Invictan identity would instantly be met with hostility or caution, since their failed attempt to colonise the Isles began & ended in bloodshed.
