Godhood

"To claim Godhood over something is to desire ownership of a mere concept so much that you forbid others from reveling in it themselves. It is quite selfish, which is why I choose to claim Godhood over Darkness itself. I am after all, selfish incarnate" -Obsyra Demigod of Darkness    Godhood is the claim over a concept or sometimes physical object. If someone has godhood over something, no other being is allowed to tamper with or use it without the permission of the godhood holder. For example, any God wanting to create a living animal, needed the permission of both Djure, God of Animals and Gaia, God of Life.   But Godhood is not a force of nature or part of the natural order. It is a concept, enforced only by the gods themselves, if they care. Thus you only have Godhood over something if the other Gods or Demigods enforce your claim, and choose to ask your permission. Should they not, you could try to convince them to belive in your claim, or try to challenge them. It is said that more than once a God won godhood over something from another god by either convincing others that they had greater claim, or threatening to best them in combat should they not recognize their claim.
