I asked mama when we were going back to pick him up. She told me that he is free now to do as he chooses you will understand one day.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Vulpini are small to medium-sized humanoids with features that resemble foxes, badgers, or raccoons, depending on their ancestry. Their fingers and toes end in tiny claws.

Genetics and Reproduction

They have a fairly short gestation periond of 3 months and generally two to four children per birth.

Growth Rate & Stages

Whithin weeks of birth a baby Vulpini is able to walk, run and climb. They reach full maturity by the age of 6.

Ecology and Habitats

They prefere the cool forests that can be found throughout Dungar because of this there is still a high population of them in the Lakewood region.

Behaviour

Vulpini are sharp-tongued, fiercely individualistic and adventurous, and have a notorious predisposition toward wanderlust. They often travel incredible distances over their lifetimes and die far from their place of birth. Some settle down and live for years in the same place if the area is filled with opportunity or to rear their young, but they almost always eventually leave anything (and anyone) they cannot easily bring with them behind, up to and including their own children. This tendency to leave without arranging one’s affairs has earned their race more than a few enemies, and some folk are reluctant to enter into any long-term arrangements that rely on trust with a Vulpini.

Additional Information

In the separation, the kids can be split up or stay together with one parent or the other, and even the occasion of both parents leaving all the children behind to fend for themselves.

Relationship Ideals

The idea of marriage is a foreign concept to the Vulpini. When it comes to relationships, they do not see the point of family in the traditional sense. Their loyalty belongs to their travel companions, this may or may not include other Vulpini and these friends can change on the spot if they find a group heading someplace they always wanted to see.

Culture and Cultural Heritage

Few vulpini ever dedicate themselves to religion, although some find a worthy one of dedicating themselves to, as long as they don't have to stay in one place to long.

History

It is believed that the wanderlust that saturates the Vulpini is due to the wandering nature of the animals that most believe the goddess Ineas mutated them from.
