Drakes

Drakes are an unusual species. A time after the last of the dragons laid their eggs on the Fiery Isle the first few that hatched were not Dragonborn. Instead, the first to crawl from the eggs were the drakes. So like the Dragonborn and Kobolds they were born of the mutation of dragon eggs by the The Cataclysm. There are many species of Drakes in Dungar. They are broken up into 5 types the Air Drakes, Sea Drakes, Land Drakes, Spirit Drakes, and finally the Domesticated Drakes. Most of the subspecies out there are nothing more than animals when it comes to intelligence. However, the Spirit Drakes are very reminiscent of the original Dragons.
