15: Crystal Appartments and Toll Booth Guy
General Summary
- The Party Investigated the scene of Valentinos demise.
- They received information from the detective on hand Idede Restrath, that he came in said something then committed suicide.
- The party not wanting to tarry too long at the scene as to blow their cover left.
- They returned home where each of them dealt with the sight of a dead associate in their own way.
- The party met back up at The Prides Perch where they happened uppon radon sitting at the bar with Magnesium
- Radon gave Magnesium a chewing out.
- Tobias offered a drink to celebrate getting past new years.
- Where in A firbolg man came in and sat down.
- Tobias chated with the man seeming to know him well.
- The Firbolg introduced themselves as Illini Baeseh
- He explained that he was here to take the edge off from the stress he had been feeling at running the homeless shelter.
- He explained that recently a youth was beginning to bully some of the elderly at the shelter.
- The party agreed to help and he gave them a ride in his car down to the shelter.
- They discussed what they were doing in Risshaven during the traffic.
- The Party Arrived at the shelter and talked to some of the people there which lead them to Ihoro. the most recent victim
- After a bit Ihoro told them about a lightning Gensai who he thought was misguided was taking some of his food and accidentally pushed him down. In his frail state this meant Ihoro was now bedridden.
- The Party went to find this lightning Gensai named Mokihi and found him demanding some of the food that was given to a smaller kid Ahera Wati.
- With a high passive perception some of the party noticed that Ahera had some bruises that he was covering up.
- The Party (- Gaelin) followed Mokihi after they finished their meal. They followed him to a seemingly new apartment complex
- There he spoke to a man who was in charge of parking management for the apartments. where in that he asked him something and then left off storming.
- A homeless man came up and bothered the Toll Booth Guy (TBG) as well.
- The party then asked them whats going on to TBG
- He explained that , the building was closed and he wasn't sure when it would be open again.
- The Party insisted to go in.
- TBG had them sign a hastily written waiver so he wouldn't get in trouble.
- The Party prepped in front of the door when Gaelin reappeared.
- After deciding the marching order they entered the complex. Where as they progressed they found proggressivly more crystaline creatures populating this location
- Keisuke Opened one of the apartment doors using the spell knock. where in it spooked the creature behind the door making it defensive.
- They used some interesting techniques in order to communicate with it. after learning that it itself was not hostile only defensive the party left its nest. where uppon going to the stairwell they were greeted by a crystalline golem with what looked like a skeleton in it.
- The Party backed away keeping eyes towards it. preventing its preditory nature from kicking in, and avoiding combat
- They backed out of the building leaving it behind glass and arcane locking the door.
- The Party reconveined at the prides perch and decided how they were going to deal with the problem of Mokihi
- They decided to investigate further into the building. contacting the DIB (Dimensional Iregularity Beuro) about what they found there.
- They responded saying they were informed of this but due to the recent mist happening it was pushed back on the schedule
- The Party then decided to inform Mokihi about the creatures in the appartment complex. in the hopes that he would go inside himself.
- They eventually were able to convince him and Mokihi signed the hasty waver of TBG( Toll Booth Guy) .
- The party minus Radon left not wanting to be blamed for his death.
- Radon after about 40 minutes heard "Oh shi-" then a crunch
- She waited for about 30 minutes and he did not return.
