Silverleaf Tree

Silverleaf trees are deciduous hardwoods whose leaves are a silvery greenish-grey, fading to yellow in autumn. Silverleaf Isle off Niere is named for them.

The leaves' color is similar to the real-world silver maple (see illustration), but their shape is more like that of elm leaves.

Uses, Products & Exploitation

Legends suggest that simply holding a silver leaf in one's hand bestows the power of flight, but legends exaggerate.

In certain Dwimmers, such as the forbidden Windstorm Isle, the leaves of the silverleaf tree have strong magical properties and can be crafted into potions of flight or temporary magical charms of flying by those who know how to ritually prepare them.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Silverleaf trees are found along the southeastern coast of Niere and on the islands of the Stormfury Ocean, most notably on Silverleaf Isle.
