Dear Ahzi,
Do you really think that? That if you hadn’t existed, or if you hadn’t met Porysis, that he wouldn’t have done that regardless? I know what you did with him was bad, one of the worst one can do to another even, but giving in to a hopelessness that you can’t at least try to change and make up for what you’ve done means that all the sadness and tragedy was for nothing. Maybe you can help find those you and Porysis sold.
No, I’m not a serial killer, nor have I done anything resulting in a body count like you and your former partner. Just one. And I regret that every day of my life. I just wanted to do something good, but I’m scared their soul is scarred for eternity for what I’ve done. Even talking about it like this to you feels a little better, though.
I might end up going there. At least then, my magic could do some good, right? I’ve heard Carmenthia is having some issues with some weird disease they can’t figure out. I wondered how you might be able to help when I heard about it. You’re probably the missing mind they need to figure it all out.
Yes, I do think you should do what you want. I like to wish that on people; the ones that seem to really need it at least. And no, I haven’t been able to do what I want so far without consequence, but that doesn’t mean I can’t give that hope to someone else. I’m here to make people better and make them happy after all. That's what I think I’m here for, and I don’t think your purpose is rotting in a cell, no matter how much you think you should be.
I don’t disagree. I know… and I’ve been looking for distractions for myself for a few years now. But if you really think that way, then let me be one of your distractions. At least then, maybe you might forget how sad life can be sometimes, and you might start enjoying it again. I don’t know…
If you don’t want to talk to me or keep in touch, that's fine. I just thought you might enjoy knowing someone cares about you at least. I do enjoy talking to you; even though you don’t seem to think the same and try to make me give up on trying. I’ve already given up on myself, I’m just trying to make sure others don’t.

I’m not here to save you. I don’t think you need saving. I just think you need a change of scenery. I don’t think I can give you your spellbook, though I’d like to. BUT, when you get out, I’d be more than happy to give it back to you in person. You have very nice handwriting.
I don’t think I can save anyone. I’ve tried, and it didn’t work. In fact, I made everything much worse. Sometimes I think some places would be better if I never existed.
You’re so talented!!!! I can’t believe you taught yourself! The incantations in your spellbook are very creative, and you have quite a good set of spells to boot!!!! I bet Porysis was SUPER impressed. Healing would be preferable to attack; I wish I could learn healing spells. They’re so hard!!!!
There's a difference between liking what you’ve done and being indifferent. Just do what you want to do, and be happy doing it.
I get hurt all the time. I don’t like it, but I have a good feeling this time. I’m getting used to friends.

Dear Ahzi,
I hope you’re doing well. First of all, I want you to know you have lovely handwriting. I’ve been transcribing spells from your spellbook, and I can return it once I’m finished. Where did you learn this sort of magic?!? I learned from my teacher back in Eredet.
Second, have you thought about what you wanted to do once you were freed? You said you’d go back to Carmenthia and beg for forgiveness, but what about after? What did you do before all of this?
Thirdly, I know Porysis meant a lot to you. Even though he was a pretty bad (I mean, like, really bad) person, I understand losing someone you really cared about. If it's any consolation, we have some stuff of his. Would you like something? A ring or a scale perhaps? I don’t know what you would do with it, but if it makes you feel better I'll try to make it work.
I just know you’re not a bad person. I know you didn’t want to enslave those people; you were just along for the ride….right? I get lost sometimes too, being around others and hearing everyone’s ideas.
You can always send me a letter if you want to talk. If not, I’ll send another letter in a few weeks checking up on you and updating you on what's happening :) .
