Do you really think that? That if you hadn’t existed, or if you hadn’t met Porysis, that he wouldn’t have done that regardless? I know what you did with him was bad, one of the worst one can do to another even, but giving in to a hopelessness that you can’t at least try to change and make up for what you’ve done means that all the sadness and tragedy was for nothing. Maybe you can help find those you and Porysis sold.
No, I’m not a serial killer, nor have I done anything resulting in a body count like you and your former partner. Just one. And I regret that every day of my life. I just wanted to do something good, but I’m scared their soul is scarred for eternity for what I’ve done. Even talking about it like this to you feels a little better, though.
I might end up going there. At least then, my magic could do some good, right? I’ve heard Carmenthia is having some issues with some weird disease they can’t figure out. I wondered how you might be able to help when I heard about it. You’re probably the missing mind they need to figure it all out.
Yes, I do think you should do what you want. I like to wish that on people; the ones that seem to really need it at least. And no, I haven’t been able to do what I want so far without consequence, but that doesn’t mean I can’t give that hope to someone else. I’m here to make people better and make them happy after all. That's what I think I’m here for, and I don’t think your purpose is rotting in a cell, no matter how much you think you should be.
I don’t disagree. I know… and I’ve been looking for distractions for myself for a few years now. But if you really think that way, then let me be one of your distractions. At least then, maybe you might forget how sad life can be sometimes, and you might start enjoying it again. I don’t know…
If you don’t want to talk to me or keep in touch, that's fine. I just thought you might enjoy knowing someone cares about you at least. I do enjoy talking to you; even though you don’t seem to think the same and try to make me give up on trying. I’ve already given up on myself, I’m just trying to make sure others don’t.
