Bog Remedy
Bog remedy is a pale yellow liquid made by boiling a hazel powder in alcohol. It has a bittersweet, vanilla-liquorice flavour. Whilst bog remedy has curative properties that make it a versatile treatment to many infections, it is most famous for its historical use to treat lungworm infestations and sexually transmitted diseases.

Pummel 1 measure of marshmallow roots, 1 measure of horehound, 1 measure of sweet root, and 1 measure of coughwort, or bog myrtle bark as an alternative, until it leaves a dry mass of homogenised, minute particles. Boil the powder in 5 measures of 25% alcohol for 10 minutes.
