Tsuru Nyobo are a race of shapeshifting cranes living in the wilds of Oyashima. Usually these Avian's keep themselves away from other lineages and species, forming large clans with other true cranes and preferring a life of freedom in the skies. When Tsuru Nyobo do enter into other societies they use their humanoid forms. They tend to leave their clans only for perceived kindnesses upon them, and to repay said treatment. If they are forced into combat they will fight in their humanoid forms, but prefer to use their avian forms to fly away from danger and harm. They also prefer to keep their shapechanging lineage a secret from non Tsuru Nyobo or non Avians, sometimes leaving their human families or friends behind when it is found out.
