Sling
A braided cord used to throw a projectile farther then you can throw it with just your arm. It can use pebbles, lead bullets, spiked balls, or various outher items as ammunition. It uses centrifigual force as it's modifier to incresse the distance, as it is a long cord with a loop on either end and a pouch like structure in the middle to hold the projectile. It is then swung in a circular motion where one end is released, freeing the projectile to fly to it's target.
The Sling was often used in hunting or in ancient warfare and is still quite deadly today as well and is inexpensive tomake, causing it to be a common ranged weapon of youth and the poor.
