Islet Turtle

The Islet Turtle has a 9ft shell and a large triangular beaked head which it uses to ambush prey who come to drink from fresh water. These slow moving metabolized ambushers prefer living in fast moving fresh water over living in stagnant pools. They use the spikes and hooks growing on their shells to gather mosses and debris flowing down the rivers and building up an artificial island on their backs.
