Congregation of Patricians

Held togeather by the Predominant, a sort of pseudo-Emperor, the Congregation of Patricians is a loosely held conglomerate of aristocratic families, merchant kings, religious leaders, and mercenary generals. The Congregation of Patricians have bonded together for purposes of trade and mutual defense. The Predominant who rules the Thousandfold Families is voted in by the various leaders at the Moot upon the death of the last Predominant. The Predominant gains a stipend from all voting parties which is used in the greater defense of the Congregation and in the various public work infrastructures.
