Lombard

A clan of Dwergar living along the rivers that run off the mountains in northern Congregation of Patricians. Rigidly set up as caste structures where social placing is followed on the matriarchal side, meaning husbands join the caste of their wives. While the Lombard stick to a rigid cate system, they will free slaves and thralls who come under their power. This causes many slaves to try and reach Lombard holdings, while slave hunters will surround the lands looking for escaping slaves.
