Mayla Darson (a.k.a. Hollis Maren Osa)

Mayla, who prefers to be called Hollis, is one of a kind. You'll never be able to find anyone in all of Earth and Draconis like her. She's as strong and sturdy as the ground I walk on, but as wistful and flowing as the wind. She's annoyed and in love with everyone and everything at the same time. She hates the idea of being trapped inside with nowhere to go, but doesn't mind sitting down and relaxing.

Mayla has always loved the great outdoors. She's never once been scared of scraping her knee, or getting bit by a bug. Once she was old enough to leave, she left home and has traveled Draconis.

Everywhere she goes she gathers a notebook and pen, a story and a tattoo. The notebook and pen to to write down the story and a tattoo to remember the place, the experiences, and the stories she had.

Personal history

Coming from a humble home Mayla spent alot of her time outside. She helped her dad and brothers work the farm in the mornings and helped her mother inside the house during the evenings. She played with her brothers in her free time and during the afternoons she drew, painted, colored, or whatever held her interest that day.

She had been told by her parents to get married and start a family, and although it was a nice thought, that was never something she wanted to do. Why stay at home all day when there's so much world out there?

Her parents couldn't quite understand, but tried to be supportive. In the end, Mayla left and took on a new name to represent the change in her life, the new person she was going to become. But it wasn't Hollis.

Mayla is creative and smart. She loves thinking of new stories to tell me and loves telling me of stories she's heard from others. She loves to paint and draw, which is why she loves nature so much. She claims its the best way to gain unlimited inspiration.

Vices & Personality flaws

Although Mayla is smart, she is impulsive and spontaneous. She loves making snap decisions and enjoys the feeling adrenaline gives her. She's hurt herself several times, emotionally and physically, and has a habit of jumping to conclusions without thinking things through.

She breaks off friendships for reasons sometimes she's not entirely sure of. She hates being wrong and sometimes forces people to convince her she's right.
