Human

Unlike our world, humans are not the dominant species in Draconis. Human cities and societies certainly still exist but there is no question this world belongs to the draconics. Whether these humans live under the terror, thumb or rule of these creatures differs by region and the whims of the draconics of the given era.
These draconic creatures are capable of forming a special bond with a human but most still view humans as hardly different than any other non-draconic. After all, humans don't possess a draconic soul and, unless they engage in heretical practices, they are unable to perform magic.
There is only one kind of human a draconic will see as an equal: a human possessing a draconic soul. Not much is known about these humans as there are those throughout history who have sought to wipe out these heretical beings and scour Draconis of any mention but despite their every effort, no draconic has successfully kept this legend from the lips of humanity.
