Tatzelwyrm

All About Me

Yes, hello. Won't you come in? Oh, fine. Stay there. Probably a smart thing to do, not that I'd eat you. I just had some sheep.

What's that? Hmmm, yes the humans gave them to me. They can be quite nice to me, leaving me sheep and birds. I don't know why, I'm probably going to destroy their homes eventually, but it's a nice thought.

I find that humans are actually quite afraid of me. It's really quite fun. Since, no one else is. Not really, anyways, I always find it interesting to see how they react. I'm not that much taller than them, but maybe it's my smile.

Although I was always told I had such a nice smile. Why would they ever be afraid of that? Who knows, really. Humans are so confusing.

Oh, yeah, I mean, you're human, well, I think you are. I do have Draconic friends you know. I don't just hang out with humans! That's ridiculous. How could you even think that? Even though humans are just so much more fun to play with...

My Draconic friends, hmmm, what about them? Yes, I go out with them. I love getting them to go through a whole field of zip wires. Or when I get them distracted so their lamb gets roasted. Now, that's always funny.

Oh, do you not find that funny? You have no sense of humor. Really, you're just like my Draconic friends. But why should I be surprised. You're a human. You don't laugh at anything I say.

Introduction

The Tatzelwyrm is one of two things. Either it's really fun to be around or an absolute pain. They're like those friends that think it's okay to spray paint the Principal's office but leave the moment you get caught. They're like those friends who find it funny when the entire container of salt covers someone's perfectly made eggs and wishes they had thought of doing that prank. They're also those friends who laughs when you fall and forgets to help you back up.

But other than that they're really quite nice Draconics.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Living in abandoned houses, rotting trees, deep caves or dark tunnels, they're not seen very often but, using various sources and life-and-death experiences, I've been able to piece together a rough idea of what this Draconic looks like. They have a feline face and top half. The eyes and ears being particularly large. It has two large claws and the bottom half being wyrm-like.

However, many of the Tatzelwyrms I have encountered have a thin layer of fur covering their draconic scales. I believe that this helps regulate their temperature. Since they are nocturnal creatures, the fur helps them from getting too cold at night.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

There are multiple rumors on the capabilities of this Draconic. Some of them being poisonous breath, acidic blood and various other things. But from what I've seen Tatzelwyrms don't breath out poisonous breath but instead just hiss or release a high-pitched wining sound that stuns its prey, where the Tatzelwyrm will then pounce on it before killing it.

Behavior

Bucket of Death

While looking for this creature, I started thinking whether it was going to kill me or not, how painful death was going to be and all the regular thoughts that would run through a human's head before it was ultimately going to be killed by a horrible beast with claws as large as my face.   I wandered into its home, careful not to touch anything, when I heard something sliding across the wooden floors. The house I was in was in shambles, completely abandoned, no one knew what happened to the owners. At that moment it wasn't ghosts I was afraid of but a horrible Draconic, known for playing with its food.   A small hiss came from behind me, but I turned around only to find nothing. I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself. It's okay, I told myself. It's only the wind coming through the windows or something stupid like that.   I turned around and found the scariest cat face I'd ever seen. It had large, round eyes; wide, pointy ears; and an honest-to-gosh Cheshire Cat grin.

"Hi." it said, "I'm so glad that I've been given the honor of meeting you."   "Yeah. Hi." I said, mentally begging it not to kill me.   "Would you like to get something to eat?" It asked.

"No, I'm good." I said, "I just wanted to meet you, and now I've met you."   It hissed, "Please, come in. Really. I'd love to have you for dinner."   "Not literally though, right?"   "Just through that door." it said. its cheshire cat grin getting wider.   I pushed the door open and a metal bucket fell on top of my head. I was soaked from top to bottom in freezing cold water. I screamed and turned to run out the door when I found the Draconic rolling on the floor, giving a silent laugh.   "I didn't know you humans were so stupid," it said, "You didn't even realize I did one of your own pranks." It continued to give a silent laugh.   I took the bucket off the top of my head and shook some of the water out of my hair, "So, wait you're not going to have me for dinner?"
