Sage of Air (a.k.a. The Storm Sage)

The aven sage of air, Wrenlee Rainfeather, lives a reclusive life high in the canopies deep in the Forest of Aeria. His doctrine is one of relative detachment and simplicity. Family, community, and sustainable living are his tenants to happiness. The world is constantly in a state of flux, trying to pin it in place will bear nothing but anger and frustration.
Wrenlee himself is a diminutive, black feathered birdfolk. When he preaches static electricity crackles between his feathers and from his claw tips. He is constantly swirling with his own wind, whipping his cloak and feathers to make him appear larger and add gravitas to his sermons. He is necessarily reclusive, rarely spending much time in a single treetop village. Like all Sages he generally has to teach in private, typically in the home of one of the faithful. When visiting a village he tries to stay in a different home each night to help avoid detection and to minimize the disruption he causes to his followers’ lives.
Although Wrenlee refutes the notion that the dragon lords are gods, making him a heretic and enemy of the state in the eyes of Erythrius, his messaging of aven isolationism makes him fairly popular in the wood elf community. The elves view the aven as somewhat inferior and would prefer to minimize interaction anyway, so having an aven leader promote the same idea to his people is perfectly alright by them.
