Olleana Blackmire

(a.k.a. The Silent Knight)

Whatever atrocities Viridia subjected Olleana to invest her with dark magic seem to have permanently scarred her to the extent that she is now mute. It is not clear if she is no longer physically capable of speech or if the damage is primarily emotional in nature. After her conversion she was assigned to Grezznik, Dark Champion of Air, and one of the most despicable dragons in the green flight. Grezznik often assumes the shape of a tall, lean, green skinned elf who Olleana silently follows around as though she were his shadow. He has made them into prominent fixtures around Nightsong, where he is known for breaking a train of speech to turn to Olleana to ask if she agrees with the point he is making. She always stares at the ground meekly, demonstrating the cruelty inherent to their dynamic. In battle Grezznik engages with his poison breath, powerful claws, and sharp teeth while Olleana snipes with her longbow from dragonback. The pair currently lead the effort to stamp out the last embers of high elf resistance. In the never ending race to the bottom between the dragon curses, Olleana is perhaps Viridia’s submission to be the worst.
