Stellaran Knight (a.k.a. The Copper Moon)
Though the Stellaran Knights each work alone and have no formal structure or hierarchy between them, a certain degree of deference is still given to the more senior members of the order. Though he does not freely share his age, simply looking at his face will show that Hans is one of those most senior knights. But do not let appearances deceive, the old man's sword arm is still strong and his mind sharp. He has outlived a dozen or more squires and defeated monsters so vile and grotesque the common soldier could not even imagine. His hardened features betray a history of strife and loss, yet he does not waiver from his course. Retiring from the order and passing one's blade on to the next generation is permissible, but he seemingly has no such designs. At least as long as he is capable of donning his armor and wielding his blade, he will uphold his oaths. Some have joked that the old man has fought the undead so much that even Umbra fears him, and that is why he continues to elude death, though uttering such levity and heresy to his face seems rather unwise and probably in poor taste. Hans is the model of a stalwart knight, and songs of his adventures will mostly certainly last well beyond his passing, should that day ever actually come.
