Uncle Sam

Samuel Washington is a member of the 101st Airborne, or at least he was before an injury forced him into honorable discharge. During the Second Crisis he was one of the first to sign up for the Force Human Evolution Project along with Frank Stiles, aka Minuteman and Bruce Carter XV, aka Fight Yank.

Adopting the name Uncle Sam when one of the experimental treatments made him grow white hair, he began to dress the part, often supporting the troops through moral but during the Fourth Crisis, Uncle Sam stepped up and formed the Liberty Troops, a group of NuTypes who fought together for the USA.

When the President of the USA dissolved the USA to form the UCAA, Washington was the first to speak out claiming the president didn't have that power, least of all when they were the only still functioning part of the government, a vote was needed.

Washington was mostly ignored as much of the Liberty Troops agreed with the call, at least publically, Uncle Sam would leave the organization but promised to keep up the fight for the real American people during the Crises.

Following the Anchor and the retreat of hostile Aliens Uncle Same would come back with the Stars and Stripes team, leading them to fight for the USA reformation and against the UCAA aggression.
