Marie Payne

Half of Miller & Payne's crusading corporate law practice, Marie is a force of nature in a courtroom and is infamous for her unrelentingly dogged nature on any case. She is able to turn up witnesses and evidence, often getting her clients off with little to no trouble.

She has two daughters by her deadbeat ex-husband, Petunia and Lily, and doesn’t generally spare them much thought so long as they keep their heads down and keep to their studies. Something that irks both girls, as each in their own way are causing problems for her, and the media is always happy to use the fact that a PAYNE daughter is working against her clientele.

She has a taste for the finer things in life and the professional skills to ensure that she is never short on them.
