The Tidemarshes

The Tidemarches is wetland island and is home to a vast area of amphibious anemones that are easily mistaken for terrestrial trees. The entangled roads of this region resemble capillaries both visually and metaphorically, for the intertwined lanes serve as passageway for unsuspecting travelers to be consumed as sustenance for the anemones of this place.

History

Before the fae arrived the tidemarshes were considered inhabitable. However, the Fae have built their nation of Revtel on the marshes. They have figured out how to turn poisonous and carnivorous Sea Anemone Trees into food. Now the tidemarshs is a place full of sadistic Fae who scam travelers of their lives and engage in other questionable activity.
