Vasem (VAH-sem)
Overview
One of the important characters of Dosjorya. A male Oundat Gendirl who hatched in a clan that dwells just south of the Sythen River. Bonded partner of Lavel Sucoret.Appearance and Personality
Though Oundats are primarily built for running fast, Vasem had a stockier build that hampered his speed and agility a little. He stood at a normal height for an Oundat. Like his bonded partner, Vasem rarely socialized with others, instead focusing on those close to him and Lavel. Being the larger individual, he saw himself as Lavel's protector and guardian, especially when the latter was still a young boy. Often times Vasem would anger at anyone who spoke poorly or acted against his partner.History
Vasem hatched to the female Oundat Actactisa along with two other nest mates. As is custom for the species, Vasem never paid heed to his fellow hatchlings nor for his mother once he could hunt for himself. Curiosity led him to leave his small home clan to wander the grasslands and human settlements. Before long he found himself in the village he later learned was called Resendou, full of farmers who did not take kindly to an Oundat stepping on their crops. When he chanced upon the Sucoret fields, he met a boy who formed an Innen bond with him: Lavel.
