Murky Lagoon
In the middle of the Llangoed Forest sits the Murky Lagoon. It’s a very deep lake with a volcanic vent at the bottom. This does several things to the lake:
- It’s a lot warmer than most lakes
- It has a lot of sulphur and sulphurous deposits in it, which gives the lake a yellow, milky quality (hence its name)
- It’s devoid of fish life, although a number of amphibians that enjoy warm water dwell around its shores (some say a Froghemoth may be found in the depths)
