Mossy Basin
The Mossy Basin is a large lake that sits to the west of Hoofalls. It gets its name from the large forest of mosses that surrounds all sides of the lake. The mosses are thick and dense when they are present.
There is very little fishing traffic on the lake as it has been all but fished out but there are many houses and lodges around the shores belonging to the rich and noble of Hoofalls. Their yachts and pleasure craft are often found on the lake and several boatyards which cater to the wealthy can be found on the eastern shore.
